Buying a 3D printer today isn’t too different from buying a table saw—you’ll need to do some research to find one that fits your space and can print what you want to print. I sent a core group of models through all the printers, and pushed the boundaries of individual printers with a range of sizes, styles, and filament types. I also tracked any failed prints, to see if the printer had an error detection system, or if it continued to run through the failed print.
