L. June Straub, 100, of Selinsgrove, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, at The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove. Born on Jan. 25, 1925, in Hummels Wharf, June was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Effie Bailey. June was a graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School. She attended St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Selinsgrove, for many years. June shared a deep, loving bond with her late husband, Robert, with whom she enjoyed many years of travel and exploration. Together, they created a lifetime of memories. June is survived by two daughters, Wanda Shoemaker (Gary) of Cleona and Bonnie Stimpson (David) of Florida. In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by two brothers, Marlin and Gordon, and a sister, Irene. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, at Shreiners Cemetery, Shreiners Road, Selinsgrove, PA 17870, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dietmar Plajer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 400 North Market St., Selinsgrove, PA 17870. Arrangements by V.L.
