Michelle M. Latshaw, 57, of Danville, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville after a long, courageous battle with Crohn's disease. Michelle was born in Sunbury on March 12, 1968, a daughter of the late John N. and Mary E. (Jones) Marconi of Danville. Michelle was a 1986 graduate of Danville High School and attended Geisinger School of Nursing, where she earned her LPN degree. Michelle was employed by Maria Hall, Maria Joseph Manor, Grandview Health and Emmanuel Center for Nursing, as an LPN. She loved being a nurse, especially to seniors, and was a kind, caring soul to everyone. Michelle loved old movies. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially horses and cats. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John C. and John T. Marconi. Michelle is survived by her husband of 25 years, Brian Latshaw; two sisters, Jean Ann Marconi, of Millersville, and Kay Shade and her husband, John, of Riverside; two nephews, Matthew Shade and his wife, Lindsey, of York, and Eric Shade and his wife, Diane, of Buzzards Bay, Mass.; her special great nieces and nephews, Christian, Everly, J.R., A.J., and Vivian, special angel, Emily; two aunts, Margaret Grinaway and Rae Jean Jones; several cousins; sister in law, Jolene Folk and her husband, Ed; beloved mother in law, Shirley Latshaw; and her kitty kids. Friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, from noon to 1 p.m. at Brady Funeral Home, 448 Church St., Danville, PA 17821. A Christian Burial Service will begin at 1, with Fr. Kenneth Roth as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Danville. Donations in memory of Michelle can be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA Central PA Center, 1467 Bloom Road, Danville, PA 17821.
