Sharon D. Rishel, 64, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 5:49 a.m., Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at Wellspan Evangelical Hospital, Lewisburg. She was born Sep. 14, 1961, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Pauline D. (Coudriet) Libby and the late Gordon L. Libby. On May 24, 1986, she married Gregory J. Rishel, who survives. Sharon was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School. She was employed by IGA Supermarkets, Kan-Trac-Tor, American Standard Apparel, Williamsport, Brann and Light Attorney's Office, Lewisburg, and RHP Law Group, Selinsgrove. Sharon was a member of Buffalo Crossroads Community Church, Lewisburg. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her husband and daughters, and hosting family dinners. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are two daughters and their spouses, Amber Frock and fiancé Jordan Canankamp, of Gettysburg, and Paige and Eric Rothermel of Mifflinburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and George Hassinger, of Mifflinburg; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, at Buffalo Crossroads Community Church, 954 Johnson Mill Road, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Daniel Hicks, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
