Excel in all of these areas (recommendations and record to back it up), consistently blocked by protectionism.
You see, my achievements, in the eyes of those who would appoint me to a C suite or VP slot,
would be admissions of failure on their part and loss of power if rewarded with an equal position. I streamline, improve, monetize, empower, enable and grow the business but those entrenched executives made the mistakes, bad decisions and partnerships that resulted in poor quality products, overruns, and other critical impacts which I am addressing.
How do you break through the old boys network of a cozy "came up together" executive suite, outside of soliciting an offer from another corporation? I am a woman, but do not believe gender factors into the equation.
