Discussing the company’s re-emergence on the smartphone scene, LG suggested that it would be offering new high-end Android handsets at the Barcelona-based Mobile World Congress expo next month, but failed to offer further details as to what for these launches would take. Whilst the eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 release date is rumoured to have been pencilled in for its own separate launch event in the weeks which follow the late February MWC, Mobile World Congress is still tipped to see a number of key product launches with LG’s new confirmed arrivals to be joined by handsets from the likes of HTC, Huawei, Motorola and Sony.
