An aged care worker has allegedly gone on a shopping spree unwittingly bankrolled by elderly residents of a Queensland facility.
The 23-year-old Margate woman employed at the aged care home in Rothwell, on the coast of Moreton Bay, obtained bank details from four elderly victims last year, Queensland Police said.

She has been charged with 110 counts of fraud, one count of enter dwelling with intent, once count of enter dwelling, and one count of commit and obtaining identification information.
“I thank the victims and their loved ones for reporting suspicious banking activity and purchases,” Queensland Police Detective Senior Sergeant Elkins said.
