The Talpa Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual fundraiser on Saturday, October 11. A $15 plate includes a pulled pork sandwich, chips, a cookie, and a drink. This year’s fundraiser also features a raffle for a Ruger American .308 rifle with a Vortex Crossfire scope, valued at $600. Raffle tickets are $5 each, or five for $20. Tickets can be purchased through Venmo at TalpaTX-VFD, with “raffle” noted in the subject line.
