['Quinn Berg', 'Section Editor']
Dakota Student
A gallery exhibition meant to showcase the lives and experiences of new Americans living in North Dakota was unveiled Monday, Sept. 8, and will run through Friday, Sept. 19.
Lee says the project received great support from around the university, including the Offices of the President and the Provost.
The City of Grand Forks itself was also a community partner for the project, with Mayor Brandon Bochenski and President Andrew Armacost delivering opening remarks prior to the opening of the gallery exhibition.
“I reviewed the photos for the photo exhibition and the video file for the video showcase, and when I review them, I almost cry.
I can see their efforts.”Lee’s team for the first iteration of the “Constitution Day Project” was made up of graduate student Lauren Huso, junior Kiera Musil, and graduate Dylan Niemi.
