Matt Dixon is a freelance illustrator and concept artist from the UK. He paints digitally, a medium which first captured his imagination when he began to assemble images from ASCII characters on a Commodore VIC-20 more than forty years ago. Matt first contributed art to a videogame in 1988 and continues to work for clients in the games industry. Alongside client projects, Matt is the creator of the “Transmissions” of robot art, a personal project started in 2005 to explore feelings and emotions that might be difficult to express in other ways, while indulging his fondness for painting rusty automata. His favorite color is green.
