Clarkesworld Magazine – Science Fiction & Fantasy
Issue 228 – September 2025Interviewby Arley SorgMartin Cahill was born in Boston and moved to New York at a young age.
Martin Cahill started strong with “It Was Never the Fire” in Nightmare’s April 2014 issue, followed by “Vanilla” in Fireside’s May 2014 issue.
When he isn’t writing, Cahill enjoys baking, and he is often the game master of tabletop role-playing games.
They’re mentioned briefly a few times in the book, but think of them like fundamental opposition to the Pillars.
I’ve got a few stories and some game writing things coming up, but nothing sold just yet.
