Microsoft has officially confirmed that it has acquired the team behind the Sunrise calendar app for iOS, Android, and desktop. In Sunrise’s case, Microsoft likes the way the app connects your calendar with a range of other third party apps and services, thus providing a better view of the month ahead. This Sunrise app itself will remain available to download for free on Android, iOS, and desktop after the acquisition.
