Following a complete game from the Du Quoin Indians at Harrisburg in Week 2, winning 41-0, the Indians leapfrogged their way from #4 up to #2 heading in to Week 3 of the high school football season. After winning over Robinson 63-0 in Week 2, the Rangers are outscoring opponents 132-0 this season. Despite a 21-14 win over Nashville, the Carterville drop to #4 in the case of “odd man out” following Du Quoin’s jump to #2. Following a tumble from preseason #1 to #8 last week, an impressive 63-12 win over Granite City moved them back up to #6. After dropping from preseason#4 to unranked in Week 2, heading in to Week 3 the Rams are #7 following their 52-51 shootout win at Carbondale last Friday.
