In the wake of the recent riots and shooting in Kenosha, WI, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse has been charged with one count of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of first-degree reckless homicide. It seems that although he is the primary focus point of political media and coverage for firing at a mob chasing him in Kenosha this past week, Kyle Rittenhouse is in fact not the first person to open fire the night of August 23rd. After the evening, Rittenhouse drove back across state lines to his home, and the following day surrendered himself to police custody, turning himself in on a first-degree intentional homicide warrant from the state of Wisconsin.
