Trump is trying to foolishly trying to wade in everywhere like a global policeman, a peacekeeper. Good if he manages to cap it, but given the decades of support by European countries, Britain and non-state actors, defence manufacturers in Europe and the US, this will not go well. He will end up with egg on his face. If he tries to armtwist Russia, he will find out that acting tough may work with lower-rung businessmen, but will backfire fast when the opponent knows how to give back.
