ABC ANIMATION STUDIO is working with Kojima Productions on Death Stranding Mosquito (working title), a brand new animated movie project based in the same universe as Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding video game series. Death Stranding Mosquito is being directed by Hiroshi Miyamoto, and also features Hideo Kojima (producer) and Aaron Guzikowiski (writer). The animated movie will feature a new character rather than Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus), who was the protagonist of the Death Stranding games. The veteran video game designer formed Kojima Productions as an independent studio following an acrimonious split from Konami in late 2015, after the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
