Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that State of Play will be broadcast on September 24, 2025 at 5.00pm EST/10.00pm BST. This is the second State of Play to be held this month, following the 007 First Light-focussed event a few weeks ago. Speaking in a post on the PlayStation Blog, the hardware manufacturer confirmed that the new State of Play will offer a fresh look at Saros, the upcoming PS5-exclusive from Housemarque with five minutes of gameplay footage. The broadcast will last around 35 minutes overall, and will include updates on third-party and indie titles, although further details were not revealed.
