Patricia “Pat” Nash, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia, with Pastor David Kellogg officiating. Born on October 20, 1941, to Geneva “Toots” (Hayes) and Nova Rhodes, Patricia grew up with a strong sense of family and a heart full of love. Patricia was known for her strong spirit and a healthy dose of stubbornness—qualities that made her fiercely loyal, deeply protective, and unapologetically herself. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bobbie Rhodes, sister-in-law Patty Rhodes, son-in-law Barry Elliott, and granddaughter Nikki Elliott.
