A new chapter in early childhood education begins as Berwyn Early Learning Academy officially opens its doors on August 25, 2025, offering high-quality care and education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old in a nurturing, innovative environment. Part of Berwyn United Methodist Church’s mission to serve community members and directed by Alex Smith, a passionate early childhood leader with a Master’s Degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Berwyn Early Learning Academy is on a mission to raise kind, curious, and resilient children — the amazing adults of tomorrow. “Our vision is bigger than just child care,” said Smith.
