John R. Brinkley's journal from 1925. Brinkley worked as a physician, but is often considered fraudulent. Brinkley was known as the "goat-gland doctor" for his procedure of implanting goat glands as a cure-all for a wide range of ailments. Brinkley was also a radio station operator, and a gubernatorial candidate for both Kansas and Texas. He lived in Milford, Kansas and Del Rio, Texas. This journal contains notes and drawings related to medical research.
