When it's bad, it's really bad, but overall views in the US, UK and Australia all show that women's standard of living on average decreases after divorce, more than men's. Disdain for fatherhood is a big issue. Feminists as far as I can tell are all for the normalisation of paternity leave to share the time commitment of raising children. Couples need to discuss who will be taking time off in the event of having children before intending to get pregnant.
