Marlyn B. Wilson, 93, formerly of Saegertown, Pa., passed away August 26, 2025, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He was born in Cranberry Township, Pa., on May 18, 1932, the son of the late George and Sylvia (McClain) Wilson. Marlyn was a 1951 graduate of Saegertown H.S. and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Talon (35 years), Systematic Tool, Saegertown Borough, and Wesbury, and was a member of First Christian Church, Meadville. He loved family, fishing, hunting, bird-watching, woodworking and a hot game of Bid 500. Marlyn is survived by a daughter, Correne (Michael) Bratten, and their children, Joel, Kelly, and Brian. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Lauren, Audrey and Ehren; a brother-in-law, Clair Reichel; and two stepdaughters, Eleanor Geiger and Lynda Wasson. Marlyn was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years, Opal "Goldie" (Shiner); his second wife of 17 years, Dean (Krupski); and his sister, Arlene Reichel. Visitation will be Friday, September 5, 2025, from 3-4 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, followed by the funeral service at 4 PM, with son-in-law, Michael Bratten, officiating. Military Honors will follow.
