Passed away on August 20, 2025 from complications from hip surgery. He had 4 siblings that had preceded him death. Larry (Bub) was an avid golfer. He and his common law wife (who also passed away) loved to go out to eat and were avid food critics. He loved spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his children Robyn Winsor Thompson & her 2 children, Lawrence Emerson Winsor III his wife Carmen their 3 boys 1 granddaughter and 3 great grandchildren Betty Jane Winsor-Boyer her husband John, Mary Grace Winsor her 3 children and 4 great grandchildren and her boyfriend Paul Drury, stepdaughter Sheri Karns her 2 daughters and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Brett Alan Winsor, but has 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild by him. He was very independent and wanted to do things his way and he did. He loved going out to eat at Mocksville Family Restaurant. Family will hold remembrance ceremony next summer. He was loved and will be missed.
