The Upper House Shanghai brings the Swire Collective's signature brand to one of the city’s busiest and swankiest commercial districts, Dazhongli. But behind its doors is a seductive, moody space set by Italian architect Piero Lissoni and adorned with contemporary Chinese art. The crown jewel in the dining program is the Michelin-selected Sui Tang Li, but the more casual Café Gray Deluxe shouldn't be missed, especially for its lemongrass crisped chicken.
