Lowden was one of over 600 CEOs nominated for the title, receiving about 1,000 votes. The World CEO Rankings (TWCR) are online awards owned by Plus Media Group to acknowledge the best CEOs worldwide through a strict nomination process and three-month-long voting season, according to the company. The CEO Ranking Awards is in their third year and this year the organization received a record number of nominations.
