Mata Gayatri Devi is the 2nd day Alankaram in Vijayawada Dasara Navaratri 2025, September 23. During Dasara Sharan Navaratri of Kanakadurga Temple, each day one of the forms of Goddess Durga is worshipped. On second day this year, Kanakadurga Mata is decorated in the form of Sri Gayatri Devi and worshipped. These five faces of the Goddess symbolize Pancha pranas or five lives – prana, apana, vyana, udana and samana. Last year also, Gayatri Devi was the third day Goddess in Vijayawada Temple.
