Four local girls advanced as individuals to the district tournament next week after playing well Monday at Franklin Valley Golf Course. Walters shot a 93 on rounds of 45 and 48 with Murdock going 45-53 for a 98 total. Ironton’s Aurelien Lewis — who has played golf for two months — shot a 139 while Green Lady Bobcats’ Taylor Patten shot a 149. The district tournament will be Tuesday at Crown Hill Golf Club in Williamsport.
