20, 2025Daniel Eugene Mooney, 74, of Ironton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his beloved family. A proud Lawrence County native, he was born on July 15, 1951, the son of the late Eugene and Thelma Mooney. Dan is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Carolyn “Sue” Fetters Mooney, whom he married on April 29, 1972.
