Researchers Have Discovered Electron Equivalents In Macroscopic Colloidal Solution
[]
Mashable India atom
The researchers observed a very interesting phenomenon while using particles as small as 1.4 nm which are considered too small for colloidal particles.
The small particles moved around the systematic large particles rather than staying still in the empty space around the large particles.
The small particles move about the large particles in the same fashion as negatively charged electron clouds move about the positively charged nucleus.
The small particles on corners remain still while the particles on the edge are delocalized.
The small particles remain connected to the large particle and can be localized or delocalized acting just like an electron cloud thus are known as electron equivalent.
