Last week, AFJN joined dozens of organizations in thanking Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) for his work in appropriating more money to the Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). As development, environment, science, and faith based organizations concerned about the impacts of climate change on poor countries and communities, we are writing to thank you for appropriating up to $10 million in the 2009 Omnibus for the Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The Least Developed Countries Fund was established under United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2001.
