The US Open is officially upon us, which means that, for the next few weeks, expect to see a surfeit of pleated skirts, sporty polos, branded Open hats, and maybe even a racket or two on the streets of New York (and especially on the 7 train as it makes its way towards Arthur Ashe Stadium).
