Update at 3 p.m.: Police that the boy had been located safe. Police are asking the public’s help in finding a 3-year-old boy who went missing from his Buffalo Grove home after reportedly walking out the back door. Village of Buffalo Grove officials said that the boy is believed to have walked out the back door of his home, which is in a subdivision off Buffalo Grove Road north of Lake Cook Road.
