Although this post was intended to focus on this particular tea plantation, we took a further look at tea production in Europe. Indeed, there are plantations on the island of San Miguel in Portugal's Azores, in the mountains near Sochi in Russia, along the Black Sea in Turkey, between the Caspian Sea and the Talysh mountains in Azerbaijan and in the western region near Kutaise in Georgia, to name a few. We have updated or post accordingly.
