A box truck caught fire Monday evening as it was exiting Interstate 70 on the ramp to eastbound C-470, forcing closures of two highway ramps near Golden and causing headaches for rush-hour commuters. The Clear Creek Sheriff’s Office reported at 5:15 p.m. that the driver of the box truck managed to escape the vehicle.
