GABON: Railway concessionaire Sociéte d’Exploitation du Transgabonais has awarded ENSCO a 12-month contract to provide track geometry measurement services. The measurement campaign is intended to assist the operator to optimise its inspection regime and the results will feed into the planning of track maintenance for the 648 km network, helping to reduce the time spent on the work. ‘We are proud that SETRAG has selected ENSCO technology to enhance the safety and efficiency of Gabon’s railway system, ultimately improving the critical transportation infrastructure for the country,’ said Jackie van der Westhuizen, Division Manager of ENSCO Rail.
