Comment on Joe Buck: Social media vitriol ‘wore me out’ by Pattywagon

Some of the vitriol is truly bad. But Buck covered many big baseball moments, and he constantly said in a monotone voice for a good decade plus with, 'Back at the wall, and that one is gone." A great example he brought up about the 2006 world series. "And for the first time since 1982, the Cards have a world series winner." He sounded
bored. He got better around the mid-2010s where he started to raise his voice in the correct way during big moments, and allowing the moment paying out.
I enjoy Bob Costas, but I think he wasn't good in the ALDS. He was trying to squeeze in stories, essays, and during a tense game is not time for that. The dog days of summer when a game is kinda sleepy is perfect. Not a tense playoff game.
