You can’t get RCS on Android without incurring the Google related privacy sacrifices. If you’re already on a Google certified version of Google, then there’s less of a privacy tradeoff since you’ve already incurred most of the privacy sacrifices from using that operating system. I personally think adding back a Google service with such invasive requirements is a privacy downgrade, especially when I’m not convinced on the privacy RCS supposedly offers because of all the reasons I already talked about.
