Dana DeeAnn (Scheer) DeKalb, 73, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on September 8, 2025. Dana was a gifted violinist, pianist, and teacher. She is survived by her husband James DeKalb (previously of Webb City, MO); former husband Aaron Bowen and their children Tara Rittler, Jenny Bowen, and Austin Bowen; stepdaughters Elizabeth Hopkins (Mark) and Laura Huitsing (Pete); nine siblings; and seven grandchildren. Dana will be remembered for her faith, generosity, and love. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, Sept. 21, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Wichita, KS.
