Totally agree with Not Gullible about "wanna be politicians" bit. But let's be fair here for a second and not ignore the fact that there is a systemic allergy to seeing a group of young Indo-Canadians be in power. Every government, board or even a new manager likes to set their own tone, direction and objectives. The only difference is that when a group of young Indo's do it others see their moves as being TYRANNICAL, CORRUPT and IMPROPER. The latter words sell and draw attention and they're easy words to throw out there with little repercussions. At the same time "not gullible" hasn't painted a holistic picture about the issue with staff. The last 4 years of the KSA has been built on the post RAF rebuilding era...but really if anyone with half a brain asked questions a simple cost-benefit analysis would conclusively asses the RAF situation as being a lost cause...it just doesn't add up. If ANYTHING the last 4 years has been spent on fear mongering by the previous councils regarding RAF...what's the first thing previous elected officials said when they saw a group of Indo-Canadians being elected? "RAF!!! THEY MUST BE RAF..O NOO A BUNCH OF INDO'S ARE ELECTED..RUN...HIDE...THEY'RE CORRUPT!!!" PLEASE SPARE ME. There was ONE count it ONE individual (staff) who ran the organization from top to bottom for 4 years with little oversight by elected officials in fears that they would be ousted somehow. Hey 'Not Gullible' maybe you should take a read over a report by a fellow by the name of Wayne Baldwin about the governance of the KSA...AND BTW the PREVIOUS Council ordered that one and they weren't all Indo-Canadians!!!!!!! As far as the staff situation goes lets not be gullible 'Not Gullible' (haha) you know damn well they're being backed by old friends, elected officials, an ex GM who are all vying to get back in power to keep their money printing machine alive....don't muddle the facts.
