Two subjects, one male and one female, have been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after they allegedly beat a man with their fists and a shovel in the Oak Park community. Officers went to the location of the alleged assault and spoke to witnesses who corroborated the victim’s story. A few hours after officers responded to CRMC, Courtney was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Joshua Terrell, 36, of Douglas, was driving the vehicle, according to a Douglas Police Department incident report. During the stop, Emmanuel turned himself in to police and was transported to the Coffee County Jail on a probation violation and aggravated assault charges.
