10, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is actively monitoring rising water levels along U.S. 60 near mile point 22.5 in Crittenden County, near the Crittenden-Union County line.
At this time, water has reached the edge of the roadway.
After reviewing current flood levels, forecasts, and historical data from flooding in 2011, engineers have determined U.S. 60 will remain open TODAY.
However, the road is expected to close due to high water on Friday afternoon, April 11.
KYTC will continue to monitor the situation and provide a more accurate update by noon on Friday, April 11.
