Editor’s Note: A very educational in interesting story about the beginnings of Barrio Logan and impact of the Coronado Bridge that displaced 1500 families. The people of Barrio Logan fought to make this area under the bridge a park. When bridge construction began in 1967, Barrio Logan residents believed they would receive land for a park.
