Work on Section 1 of the I-69 Ohio River Crossing (ORX), the approach work in Henderson, is expected to be complete this year. The 2025 I-69 ORX Section 1 Construction Guide provides a quick snapshot of what to expect the rest of this year. A nearly two-mile stretch of future I-69 (US 41 to US 60) will open to traffic later this year. The Airline Road bridge will also be reconstructed with work expected to begin this spring and be complete this summer. The new US 41 interchange opened in temporary configuration, portions of future I-69 opened to traffic, and seven new bridges were also complete.
