E. Hofmann Packaging broke ground on its first U.S. operation Tuesday.
The Canadian-based plastics packaging producer is investing $43 million in a new Hopkins County facility, creating 164 quality Kentucky jobs, according to a news release from the governor’s office.

“The groundbreaking of E. Hofmann Packaging represents a major step forward in Madisonville’s continued economic growth,” said Cotton.
