A seventh-grade student has been charged after stabbing a teacher during class at a middle school in far southwestern Virginia, according to officials. Sheriff Gary Parsons said the student claimed to have obtained the knife from the school’s kitchen. A group of students inside the classroom helped subdue the student after the attack, WJHL reported.
