GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. [mdash] Glen Eugene Eash was born on Nov. 24, 1946, in LaGrange, Indiana, to John Henry Eash and Edna Lambright Eash.
Glen graduated from Topeka (Indiana) High School, then worked in several mobile home factories in the area while attending IUSB.
He fell in love with Colorado during 1-W service, and eventually moved there with his wife, Ingrid Troyer Eash.
They eventually settled in Glenwood Springs, where he started G-Electric, an electrical contracting business.
After retiring in 2012, they moved to Grand Junction.
He was diagnosed with Bulbar-onset ALS in 2022, and passed on Aug. 13, due to complications.
"G" will be remembered for his love of family, his work ethic, and for capturing the lives of his friends and family on film. He will also be remembered for his sense of humor (he was "wired" differently), his wealth of knowledge of all things construction, and for his service to others in need.
He is survived by Ingrid; sons, Matthew (Lora) and Carter; granddaughters, Lillian, Sadie, and Emery; siblings Caroline Overholt (Steve), Wayne (Marilyn), Rosie (Hank), and Ken (Sara); and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Edna Eash; and River Rumsey Eash.
