GOSHEN [mdash] Barbara A. Strycker, 85, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Goshen Hospital. She was born May 2, 1940, in Goshen to Leon D. and Dorothy R. (Wemple) Myers. On Nov. 13, 1960, she married Wallace G. Strycker. He died Aug. 19, 2019. Survivors include two children, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Strycker, Fishers and Denise Lawrence, Goshen; and three grandchildren, Lou and Emily Strycker and Sydney Lawrence. Along with her parents, and husband Wallace, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Lawrence and son-in-law, Michael Lawrence. Mrs. Strycker was a loving homemaker and graduate of Goshen High School. A member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren, Barbara was active in the community as a Scouts Club den mother and crossing guard on Main Street for many years. Barb enjoyed being with people playing cards, doing crafts and being with the people in her bowling league at Maple City Bowl. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
