MIDDLEBURY [mdash] Ora A. Miller, 86, of Middlebury, (District: 70-1), died at 11:50 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital. He was born on May 3, 1939, in Haven, Kansas, to Albert E. and Edna (Yoder) Miller. On Nov. 16, 1972, in LaGrange County, he married Wilma A. Miller. She died Dec. 4, 2021. Surviving are three children, Marilyn Kay (Noah) Petersheim, Marlin Ray (Rosetta Sue) Miller, and Linda Sue Miller, all of Middlebury; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandsons; three sisters, Esther (Sam) Eash of Hutchinson, Kansas, Katie (Kenneth) Keim of Drakesville, Iowa, and Velma (Robert) Schrock of Jamesport, Missouri; sister-in-law, Irene Miller of Haven, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; three brothers, Floyd, Freddie, and Elton Miller; three sisters, Clara Mae Stutzman, Wilma Schrock, and Ida Bontrager. Ora was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, and all day Thursday, Sept. 11, at the family's residence, 59279 C.R. 33, Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Richard Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be in Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Middlebury. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
