The Election Commission of India has ruled that Family Register Certificates issued after July 25, 2026, under the new MeeSeva mechanism, will not be valid for verification in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Telangana. Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has clarified that the Family Register Certificates (FRC) issued after July 25, 2026, cannot be accepted as one of the designated documents during the verification process under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral roll in the State.
