West Bengal has extended a helping hand to Assam as the state battles one of its worst flood crises in recent years. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that Rs 10 crore will be provided from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid Assam in its relief and rehabilitation efforts. He also pointed out that other states, including Manipur and Chhattisgarh, have already announced assistance, and West Bengal’s contribution is part of a collective effort to support Assam during this humanitarian crisis.
